Since 2004, the klicksafe initiative has been calling for people to participate in the worldwide day of action for more safety on the Internet with events and activities. Under the motto "Together for a better Internet", actions are carried out on focal points such as media education, data security, stress and addictive behavior, and consumer information.

On Tuesday, February 7, 2023, this year's day of action will take place. For now 15 years, various actors from Frankfurt (Oder) participate in it with changing offers. From these events and actions lives the Safer Internet Day.

This year, the focus is on mindful use of the Internet and social media. In social media, the day will be discussed and accompanied with the hashtags #OnlineAmLimit and #SID2023.

The following free program items will take place:

  • Augmented Reality Escape Room
  • Various interactions for communication in online games
  • Quizzing with Kahoot
  • Information and interactions on gaming, gambling and co.
  • Information and detox box
