The second weekend in June is traditionally marked by the Landpartie in Brandenburg. For the 29th time, farm gates, stable doors and inns will be wide open on June 8 and 9 to give visitors a glimpse behind the scenes of agriculture and rural life.

Seenland Oder-Spree is also preparing for this weekend and those interested need to plan well to be able to visit the more than 20 participants in Brandenburg's largest travel region on both days.

In the Berlin area, for example, you could cycle between the three participants in Altlandsberg. Horse enthusiasts will get their money's worth at the Camargue Pferdehof with show programs and pony rides. Not far away, you can learn interesting facts about organic apple growing during a tour of the orchard at Bio Apfelhof Müller. During the Landpartie, the Schlossgut Altlandsberg offers a regional market and an exhibition of agricultural machinery. There will also be guided tours of the historic grounds.

You can experience old crafts live in Fredersdorf-Vogelsdorf at the traditional event organized by IG Freunde alter Landtechnik. You can enjoy some cozy country music and riding performances in Dahlwitz-Hoppegarten at the Lucky Horse Ranch Mönchsheim GbR on Saturday.

First take the train to Storkow and hop on your bike to start your country tour at the Dahme-Heideseen Nature Park Visitor Centre at Storkow Castle. After a tour of the interactive exhibition, where you can discover the diverse habitats of the nature park and where touching is expressly encouraged, it is worth visiting the "Insect Paradise Garden" opposite with its "strolling bee course". In Groß Schauen, the entire village celebrates and on the Naturgut Köllnitz behind it, much revolves around the traditional fishery, which is located directly on the Heinz-Sielmann-Naturlandschaft Groß Schauener Seenkette. Fishermen explain and show how nets are built and the nearby Biohof Busch offers guided tours of water buffalo and cattle.

There are also several interesting places to visit in Märkische Schweiz. At Wildhof Müncheberg, for example, you can look forward to a show cooking and delicious game dishes. In Prötzel, you can watch a traditional oil mill at work and taste the healthy linseed oils or homemade ice cream. The Tree Nursery Vierhub in the village of Märkische Höhe is also involved and offers plant advice and wine tasting.

A trip to the Oderbruch on the Landpartie weekend is also worthwhile, as the farm gates are wide open there too. The impressive ratites can be observed at Straußenhof Weideblick in Neuhardenberg. The Oderbruch Hof in Alt Tucheband, which is home to numerous goats, is also a cute animal farm. Very close to Letschin, visitors can meet the Scottish Highland Cattle at Biohof Boelk. Hourly show shearing and a gastronomic offer are also on the program there. At the Behringhof in Höhenland OT Leuenberg, the new climate and biodiversity trail will be presented.

On June 8, you can see how modern agriculture works and how everything comes from a single source at the Agrargenossenschaft Ranzig in the Ranzig district of Tauch. Field and farm tours will take place there. Food and drink, children's entertainment and musical entertainment will also be provided.

The Jagdverband Fürstenwalde e.V. is also organizing a family day on the event area at Pintschbrücke on Saturday only.

Wine and strawberries are the focus of the farm festival at the Weingut Patke in the Jacobsdorf district of Pillgram. In addition to strawberries, the Frankfurter Obsthof Neumann also focuses on the cherry harvest at the Landpartie.

Other participants worth visiting at this year's Brandenburger Landpartie include the Saatgut und Permakulturgarten Alt-Rosenthal in Vierlinden, the Streitberger Kulturbrennerei in the Langewahl district of the same name, the Forstbetrieb Steinhöfel in the Charlottenhof district and the FLORA-LAND Arnold in Schöneiche near Berlin.
