Regional management to support TESLA environment development in the Oderland-Spree region
20.09.-23.09.2022 | Berlin
Brandenburg presented itself as a strong and innovative location for rail transport technology at InnoTrans 2022, the industry's leading international trade fair. At the joint stand of the German capital region, organized by the Brandenburg Economic Development Board (WFBB) and Berlin Partner, around 80 companies and institutions presented their innovative products, services and locations
Brandenburg, together with Berlin, is considered the center of Modern Mobility in Germany. InnoTrans, as the most important leading international trade fair for rail transport technology, offers an important showcase for the companies of rail technology from the capital region. The trade fair features a top-class supporting program combined with attractive presentations and the unique track and outdoor exhibition area. Divided into the five trade fair segments Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors and Tunnel Construction, InnoTrans occupies all 42 halls of the Berlin exhibition grounds, in addition to the outdoor area, which comprises 3,500 linear meters of track.
The regional management to support the Tesla environment development with the Oderland-Spree region was represented at the stand of IPG mbH (service manager of the regional management) and Wagener&Herbst.
On the four days of the trade fair, the Oderland-Spree region and the regional management were illustrated to many visitors by the marketing articles created for trade fairs and events, such as the regional flyer, the regional brochure, the profiles of available commercial and industrial sites, and other articles. Especially the regional brochure, which was created in the run-up to InnoTrans, attracted a lot of interest among the visitors.
The regional brochure was then also officially presented on the third day of InnoTrans by representatives of the regional management and handed over to Mr. Secretary of State Fischer (Ministry of Economic Affairs, Employment and Energy)
Among the visitors were representatives of the Brandenburg Economic Development Agency, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Planning, ALCARO Invest, ArcelorMittal, VDV, investors from Lusatia (Euromovement GmbH), rail transport companies (HVLE, Köf Lokomotiven- und Wagenvermietungsgesellschaft mbH), BVMW e.V. and industrial companies.
Furthermore, an exchange on current and strategic developments took place with the logistics locations, which were also represented at InnoTrans, such as the CT terminal Frankfurt (Oder), marshalling yard Ziltendorf and the port of Eisenhüttenstadt.
Further information and approaches for further planning of the regional management could also be achieved through participation in the following events:
