Night choral concert to the "Bunter Hering"

Festive wind and choir music sounds to the atmospheric prelude of the HansesStadtFest "colorful herring" on Thursday, July 6, in St. Mary's Church.

Intrades and dances, intoned by brass players of the Gorzów Philharmonic Orchestra, immerse St. Mary's Church in the light of past centuries. They alternate with choral works by Michael Praetorius, sung by the Great Choir of the Singakademie Frankfurt (Oder) under the direction of Rudolf Tiersch. Summery lilting melodies and choruses from oratorios by George Frideric Handel conclude the nightly concert "Windows in the Light" and increase the anticipation of the coming city festival.
