New PlusBus line between Fürstenwalde and Beeskow from Sunday

On Sunday, February 9, 2025, another PlusBus line will be launched in the district under the name "PlusBus Oderland-Spree". Line 440 will run between the two towns of Fürstenwalde and Beeskow according to the new PlusBus timetable at regular hourly intervals during the week and every two hours at weekends. It runs via Langewahl and Rietz-Neuendorf and is operated by Busverkehr Oder-Spree GmbH (BOS). In Beeskow, the line runs beyond the railroad station and connects the town center with the market square. The previous line 403 between Fürstenwalde/Spree and Beeskow will be renamed line 440.

In Fürstenwalde, there are connections to the regional express RE1 to and from Berlin and Frankfurt (Oder). At the station in Beeskow, there are connections to PlusBus line 400, which runs between Beeskow and Eisenhüttenstadt. With the new line 440, in addition to lines 400, 420, 435 and 950, there are now five PlusBus lines operating under the name "Oderland-Spree" and a total of six (with line 428) in the Oder-Spree district.

With now six PlusBuses, Oder-Spree has developed from a white spot to one of the top 3 districts in Brandenburg in just two years. And that was just the beginning."
