Under the motto "60 Years – 60 Places", the "Junge Camerata Dresden" chamber orchestra from the Saxon State High School is currently touring Germany. On Saturday 13 June at 5 p.m., it will perform at the Bürgerkirche St. Marien Frankfurt (Oder).

"TIME SHIFT – Tempora mutantur" is the title of the anniversary concert of the Saxon State Grammar School for Music Carl Maria von Weber Dresden. With their concert, the young musicians embark on a musical search for traces of the past and present. Works of Viennese classical music meet the contemporary sound language of minimal music. The artistic director is Sebastian Dietrich, the soloists are Marie Luise Reichardt (oboe) and Lenny Ray Angermann (violin).

Admission is free, donations are requested.

The Sächsisches Landesgymnasium für Musik Dresden was founded 60 years ago and has since produced many graduates who have left their mark on musical life beyond the borders of the state.

With this project, the young musicians will create a varied programme at 60 different venues – in concert halls, schools, retirement homes, churches, squares and theatres.
