The Frankfurt (Oder) Music School can look back on a successful year at the regional "Jugend musiziert" competition in Prenzlau: eleven participants were awarded ten 1st prizes and one 2nd prize.

Two outstanding artistic achievements deserve special mention. Rahel Pontigo (vocals) and Merlin Arnold (young piano accompaniment pop) each achieved the highest score of 25 points and also won the special prize in their category.

  • In the Drum Set category, Cayden Thore Liepe (25 points), Joachim Tschäpe (24 points), Bartosz Jureczko (23 points) and Laric-Ben Schubert (21 points) each received a 1st prize.
  • In the vocal category, Rahel Pontigo (25 points) achieved a 1st prize, Sara Maria Krethlow and Olivia Pietras were also awarded 22 points and a 1st prize each.
  • In the Guitar (Pop) category, Leonel Baensch (25 points) was awarded 1st prize.
  • In the Piano Solo category, Jakob Hartmann (21 points, 1st prize) and Adam Sasik (19 points, 2nd prize) were awarded.

Cayden Thore Liepe, Bartosz Jureczko, Rahel Pontigo, Leonel Baensch and Merlin Arnold were forwarded to the state competition.
