The nationwide campaign week Mental Health (October 10 to 20) this year has the motto "Let confidence grow - mentally strong in the future". The focus will be on the target group of young people in particular and preventative and psychosocial services will be addressed.

In this context, the Psychosocial Working Group (PSAG) of the city of Frankfurt (Oder) offers all institutions and organizations that provide preventive and psychosocial work for young people a platform to draw attention to the various services.

On Monday, October 13 at 4 p.m., the kick-off of the action week will take place in the town hall. The action week will be accompanied by an exhibition by the association "Irrsinnlich menschlich" on the topic of "Wie geht's?", which is mainly aimed at teenagers and young adults.

From October 13 to 17, various events for young people and families will invite them to participate, including a lecture on addiction, film screenings, making music together, mindfulness exercises for children and parents, an animal-assisted activity, "Boxing for more self-confidence" and offers from the youth clubs.

In addition, the PSAG has compiled an overview of the most important psychosocial services in the city in the form of a guide.
