On Friday, November 17, 2023, the North District Conference will be holding a festival for the whole family from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Under the motto "Nordleuchten", Frankfurters are invited to light up the Nord district together with their self-made or purchased lanterns.
The meeting point is on Hansaplatz. From there, the lantern procession parades through the district accompanied by a samba group. After arriving at the "Siegfried Ringhandt" Protestant senior center, Seelower Kehre 3, the entertainment program begins at 5 p.m.
Children can look forward to creative activities, glow-in-the-dark tattoos and DJ Mario. In addition to tea, mulled wine and grilled sausages, there will also be brioche dough on offer.
The event is financially supported by the city of Frankfurt (Oder).
