Funding of up to 55,000 euros available

The Brandenburg Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KVBB) has launched a campaign to attract new GPs to Frankfurt (Oder). As part of this, the KVBB is offering a grant of up to 55,000 euros to GPs who set up a new practice in Frankfurt (Oder). The KVBB is also offering further support.

In the run-up to this, Frankfurt’s city administration and the city council were in close consultation with the KVBB to ensure the supply of GPs in Frankfurt. This is because, in the coming months, several GPs will be closing their practices due to retirement, without a successor having been found. As most of the remaining practices are unable to accept new patients due to capacity constraints, it is extremely difficult for Frankfurt residents affected by these practice closures to find a new GP in their city.

As part of the campaign that has now been launched, the KVBB offers not only financial support but also assistance in finding practice and residential premises, expert advice on setting up a practice, and networking with regional partners.
