"Kleist K.O." - Homage to Frankfurt (Oder), Kleist and boxing with Thomas Thieme enters the next round

Following its great success at the Kleist Festival, the literary performance "Kleist K.o." is now back on the Frankfurt Kleist Forum's schedule at short notice. The concert reading with acting legend Thomas Thieme, who has found an equal partner in theater actress and director Julia von Sell, can be seen on March 1.

"Kleist K.o." brings together the Frankfurt (Oder)-born playwright Heinrich von Kleist and boxing for the first time. Touching scenes from the author's complete works merge with the biographies of great boxers. The evening is not only a tribute to Heinrich von Kleist, but also to international sporting greats such as Muhammad Ali and George Foreman and to Frankfurt boxing legends Manfred Wolke, Henry Maske and Axel Schulz. The musical bracket was created by musician and composer Arthur Thieme.
