Do money and social class still determine the relationship market today? This is the question at stake in "Pride and Prejudice* (*or so)" based on Jane Austen's novel, which became equally famous as a social study and romance. The ensemble of the Potsdam Hans Otto Theater shows the musical version of the literary classic on May 13 and 14 in the Kleist Forum Frankfurt (Oder).

The story of the five Bennet daughters, who must be brought under the hood to secure the family inheritance, is told in this version of five maids, who slip for it into all roles. A fast-paced and funny production with hits of the 80s, such as "You're so vain", "You can't hurry love" and "Total eclipse of the heart", a poppy stage design and skillfully shrill costumes.

To the culinary pleasure becomes the theater visit on Saturday already starting from 18 o'clock with the theater menu. Guests can expect a seasonal menu consisting of two or three courses, and vegetarian on request, at Schroffensteins theater restaurant.
