The Cinestar cinema at Große Scharrnstraße 68–71 in Frankfurt (Oder) will be showing the German-language version of the award-winning film "Green Border" by Polish director and Viadrina Prize winner Agnieszka Holland on Thursday, March 14 at 5 p.m.
The multi-perspective drama deals with the refugee crisis on the border between Belarus and Poland. It will be followed by a discussion with Viadrina student and founder Lava Mouslam, who fled to Germany from Syria in 2015. Tickets are available in advance online and on site.

The film evening is organized by the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, the German-Polish Society Brandenburg, the Viadrina Center of Polish and Ukrainian Studies, the Viadrina Center B/ORDERS IN MOTION, the Catholic University Chaplaincy at the Viadrina and the Oekumenisches Europa-Centrum Frankfurt (Oder).
