Next round for nationwide IHK training campaign / Brandenburg IHKs and trainee ambassadors support the campaign

While several hundred thousand young people have started their training in Germany, the application phase for the next generation has already begun. The Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHKs) and the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (DIHK) are once again accompanying them with a strong nationwide campaign that whets the appetite for training – fresh, bold and right on the pulse of the target group. With claims such as "Don't worry, they'll do something", "Not fake, but capable" or "You can teach us something", the IHKs are sending out clear signals: dual training offers real prospects – for young people as well as for companies that still have training places to fill. Large posters in cities, digital screens at train stations and in shopping centers make it widely visible.

"With regional campaigns such as the IHK education streetcar in Cottbus, beer coasters in East Brandenburg restaurants, posters and banners for companies and a wide range of offers, the IHKs Cottbus, Potsdam and East Brandenburg are strengthening the nationwide campaign and, above all, the growing attitude towards life 'Training in Brandenburg'. The messages make it clear that dual training is the way forward. You can build a future and successful careers on it," says Jens Warnken, President of the Cottbus Chamber of Industry and Commerce on behalf of the Brandenburg Chambers of Industry and Commerce. As of August, 5,300 young people have already opted for this path in Brandenburg's IHK training companies.

Social media accompanies the campaign
The campaign is also running on TikTok, Instagram and Co. and has two Brandenburg faces. Trainees Niklas Pamer, a civil engineering technician, and Phoebe Lara Ochozinski, an industrial clerk, provide authentic insights into their everyday lives as trainees. A total of 28 trainees and one trainer tell their stories on the "die.Azubis" channel, reaching over 75,000 subscribers and millions of views.

These practical reports at eye level can also be heard in Brandenburg's schools from around the IHK training ambassadors. They take a look at their own professional orientation, everyday working life and provide motivation for the application phase. The IHK training magazine "Mach es in Brandenburg", which is hot off the press and has a new campaign look, has been sent to around 300 schools in Brandenburg free of charge, as well as the website of the same name www.mach-es-in-brandenburg.de. There, interested pupils, parents and teachers can find a detailed overview of Brandenburg's training companies, advisory services, events and training fairs.

The "Jetzt KÖNNENLERNEN – Ausbildung macht mehr aus uns" campaign has been a permanent feature of the services offered by Brandenburg's three chambers of industry and commerce to their more than 4,000 training companies for several years now. Member companies can draw on templates, ideas and suggestions for their own training marketing. The three chambers are available to provide personal advice and information on their websites.

The state working group (LAG) is a cooperation between the three chambers of industry and commerce in the state of Brandenburg. It represents the interests of around 160,000 companies from industry, trade and services.
