The Messe und Veranstaltungs GmbH Frankfurt (Oder) is fit for the future and the demands of the modern event market. With an investment of almost 400,000 euros from the European Regional Development Fund, the leading cultural provider of East Brandenburg was able to realize quite a few forward-looking projects for the expansion of digitization in the Kleist Forum, the concert hall "Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach", the exhibition halls and the German-Polish Tourist Information.
"We are very proud of what we have achieved," says Managing Director Bernd Vorjans and adds: "With the 100 percent funding, the company was able to make a digitalization leap, which gives an answer to the increasingly complex organizational and planning processes, and which would not have been feasible without these additional funds."
So in the Kleist Forum alone, numerous access points were installed, which ensure a comprehensive and free WLAN throughout the building, from which the theater audience, organizers and conference guests benefit equally. The basic equipment of the conference and meeting rooms in the Kleist Forum, the exhibition halls and the German-Polish Tourist Information Center now includes state-of-the-art, hybrid conference technology that is future-proof for all upcoming technical requirements and challenges of contemporary conferencing. In addition, large displays have been installed at all venues to communicate key content to visitors - centrally via standardized software. However, the digitization project is not only a step forward for guests, but also for employees, who can work more efficiently and sustainably with the most modern software and hardware solutions.
The funding of 390,800 euros for the project "The digital future of Messe und Veranstaltungs GmbH: integrated - robust - efficient - sustainable" comes 100 percent from the REACT-EU funding program, with which the European Union is combating the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and promoting the development of a sustainable, digital and resilient economy.
