Once again this year, the Film University Babelsberg’s popular Children’s Film University is touring Brandenburg. During the week from 3 to 8 August 2026, the popular film workshop for young people aged 13 to 16 will take place at the Parkclub Fürstenwalde. The holiday film workshop is a joint project between the Kinderfilmuni and the Oderland-Spree I Beeskow university outreach centre.
During the six-day workshop, participants will be guided by two film professionals from the Film University Babelsberg as they bring their own small film project to life. From story development and drawing up a shooting schedule, through an introduction to camera and sound technology, right through to filming, the young people will go through the various stages of production and gain comprehensive practical experience in filmmaking.
