On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 11.15 a.m. to 12.45 p.m. in the Kurfürstensaal of the Viadrina Museum, the staged reading with sounds of "Von einem der ausog, das Fürchten zu lernen" will take place. The event is aimed at children aged six to ten and will be accompanied by Peter Hellert and Halina Muchow.

The Brothers Grimm fairy tale will be brought to life with sounds and noises during the reading. Sound collector Peter Hellert has collected more than 2,000 sounds and will accompany the reading with a selection of them. On site, the children can get active themselves and produce some sounds.

Peter Hellert worked as a sound engineer for the Kleist Theater for forty years. For some time now, he has been supporting the Viadrina Museum and bringing the historical instruments in the Reka collection back to life.
