On Friday 7 August at 3.00 p.m., there will be a guided tour of the current special exhibition ‘Beyond Prussia’s Gloria – The “Other” Anton von Werner’ at the Viadrina Municipal Museum.
The special exhibition presents the ‘other’ Anton von Werner, an artist associated with academic realism. On display are studies of historical events, impressions of travels and landscapes, illustrations and decorative commissioned works. The paintings and drawings on display come from the collection of a private collector in Berlin. This is the first time the collector has presented his collection in the artist’s hometown.
The special exhibition at the Frankfurt City Museum can be visited until 1 November 2026 – from Tuesday to Sunday, 11.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Admission: €6.10 per person; concessions: €3.90 per person; children and young people up to the age of 18: free of charge, plus a guided tour fee of €2.30 per person
