On Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 06:00 p.m. Dr. Christian Hirte will give the lecture "Frankfurt's lost museum. A tour of the Lienauhaus".
Before the Second World War, the museum in Frankfurt Lienauhaus was one of the most important museums in Brandenburg. Little of it has remained. The building fell into ruins in 1945. The collections are lost or also became victims of the war.
The lecture by the Berlin cultural scientist, museum consultant and provenance researcher Dr. Christian Hirte undertakes an attempt to reconstruct the former Frankfurt City Museum.
