European University Viadrina again occupies top positions in nationwide university ranking

In the ranking for the subject of law, students of the law program rated the general study situation at the European University Viadrina as excellent and attested their university top positions in 15 of a total of 16 criteria queried. Especially in the areas of support during studies, supervision by the lecturers and examination organization, the Viadrina shows excellent ratings. In terms of study organization, the European University Viadrina is the leader in the Berlin-Brandenburg region in the students' opinion.

In the ranking for the field of economics - that is, the bachelor's degree programs International Business Administration (IBA) and International Business Administration (IBWL) - Viadrina is in the top group in all 14 criteria evaluated by students. Top marks were given, among other things, for the support provided at the start of studies, the range of business courses with flexible selection options, the practical orientation in teaching and offers of career guidance, the organization of studies and examinations, and the support provided for stays abroad. This makes the European University the leader in terms of general study situation among students of economics in Berlin and Brandenburg.

"The results of the CHE ranking are a nice confirmation that law and economics at Viadrina offer an attractive range of studies. However, they will not stop us from becoming even better," said the president of the European University Viadrina, Prof. Dr. Eduard Mühle.

The university ranking of the weekly newspaper "Die Zeit" and the Center for Higher Education Development is Germany's largest and most important comparative ranking of state and private universities. In previous years, the European University Viadrina already occupied top positions in the CHE ranking.
