The Chamber cordially invites you to the opening of the photo exhibition "Economy west of the Oder" on 01.12.2025 at 18:00 at the IHK Ostbrandenburg in Frankfurt (Oder). The exhibition was created on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the partnership between the Lubuskie Voivodeship and the State of Brandenburg.
The East Brandenburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce is the self-governing body of the regional economy. It represents 42,000 companies from ice cream parlors to the car manufacturer TESLA. Since the fall of the Iron Curtain, the IHK has been strengthening relations with Poland. Together, they ensure good location development and intensive business contacts across the border.
Poland is Brandenburg's most important trading partner. With an export volume of around 170 billion euros, Poland ranks fourth for Germany, ahead of China. Every day, goods worth half a billion euros are exchanged in the East Brandenburg region - by road, rail and water. For a prosperous region, we will continue to need close cross-border cooperation in the future. Entrepreneurs, commuters, students and guests deserve a modern infrastructure in an attractive region on both sides of the Oder.
The exhibition shows the work of the IHK with a focus on German-Polish cooperation. The employees of the IHK would be delighted if you came by, were inspired by the photos and engaged in conversation with the guests from Poland and Germany.
