Economy in action: Project exchange on April 19 again in presence

On Wednesday, April 19, 2023, social institutions will present their project ideas from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Leibniz Institute for Innovative Microelectronics (IHP), Im Technologiepark 25 as part of the "Economy in Action" initiative. At the same time, interested companies offer their knowledge and skills for implementation. The patronage for the eighth round of the initiative has taken over Lord Mayor René Wilke.

Economy in action for Frankfurt (Oder) promotes the voluntary commitment of the local economy in cooperation with social, cultural as well as educational institutions of the city. In the action summer coworkers from enterprises of all sizes and industries bring in this way their knowledge and their energy into non-profit projects. The summer of action makes it clear that social commitment means a win-win situation for everyone involved and initiates sustainable cooperation between the partners.

The overall project is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth as part of the federal program "Demokratie leben!"

For the planning and implementation of Economy in Action - For Frankfurt (Oder), representatives of the Caritas Volunteer Center Frankfurt (Oder), the Chamber of Crafts Frankfurt (Oder) - East Brandenburg Region, the Chamber of Industry and Commerce East Brandenburg, the Neighborhood Management Frankfurt (Oder) "Downtown - Beresinchen", the Municipality of Frankfurt (Oder), the Wohnungswirtschaft Frankfurt (Oder) GmbH, the Stadtverkehrsgesellschaft mbH Frankfurt (Oder) and the IHP GmbH - Leibniz Institute for Innovative Microelectronics are working together.
