Stern-Combo Meissen, one of Germany's longest-serving rock bands, is on an anniversary tour and will be stopping off at Frankfurt's Kleist Forum on March 14. Founded in 1964 in Meissen, Saxony, the band led by veteran Martin Schreier (vocals and drums) has been rejuvenated time and again, but continues to impress its fans at live concerts with its unmistakable Stern sound.

In addition to unforgotten classics such as "Der Kampf um den Südpol", "Die Sage", "Stundenschlag", "Wir sind die Sonne", "Eine Nach" and "Nimm die Welt in die Hand", excerpts from the conceptual works "Weißes Gold" and "Bilder einer Ausstellung - The Rock Version" will also be presented on the tour. Special highlights of the anniversary tour will include performances by former band colleagues, musical guests and orchestral accompaniment.
