In the Oder-Spree district, the mobile library will become a mobile adventure location for the whole family during the Easter holidays. Under the motto "Easter adventures in the mobile library", visitors can look forward to a special hands-on experience from 30 March to 10 April 2026.

In addition to the wide range of media on offer – from exciting books, Tonies, magazines and films to music, games and interactive tiptoi media – a special activity will provide additional fun this year: the Easter bunny has hidden at least one egg at each stop. If you look carefully through the shelves, you may be lucky enough to discover a little surprise.

The campaign takes place at all regular stops of the travelling library. These include Woltersdorf, Groß Muckrow, Kieselwitz, Krügersdorf, Mixdorf, Kummersdorf, Markgrafpieske, Neu Zittau, Hartmannsdorf, Spreenhagen, Kienbaum, Langewahl, Treppeln, Steinsdorf, Breslack, Ratzdorf, Wellmitz, Möbiskruge and Schernsdorf.

The travelling library invites children, young people and adults alike to browse, borrow and take part. Whether alone, with friends or with the whole family – the Easter campaign offers a successful combination of reading promotion and playful discovery.

Good to know: The mobile library is the mobile library of the Oder-Spree district. It regularly travels to numerous locations in the district in a specially equipped bus, providing access to a wide range of media even in smaller communities. Users can borrow and return media and get advice on site.
