Dried beans are slowly but steadily gaining in importance as a local protein crop. But how can they be successfully grown under the conditions in Brandenburg? Which varieties and cultivation systems have proved successful? And what prospects does regional marketing offer? 

As part of our event, we will present the latest findings from a four-year cultivation trial with dry beans and take a look together at other heat-loving crops such as vigna beans and soya beans.
