The Märkisch-Oderland district service portal has been launched. It brings together all current and future online services offered by the district administration and enables citizens to apply for government services easily and securely from home.

Whether it's permits for listed buildings, internet-based vehicle registration, maintenance advances, health certificates or appointment bookings, a wide range of administrative services can already be found in the new service portal.
The classification of the various administrative services according to life situations, such as construction and housing, health or family and children, makes it easy to find the services you are looking for.
The new service portal will be gradually expanded to include additional online services, making it the central point of contact for citizens and companies who want to submit applications digitally.

The service portal was financed by European Union funds from the "NextGenerationEU" programme (Pact for the Public Health Service).

Background: The Online Access Act (OZG) forms the legal basis for the largest public administration modernization project to date since the Federal Republic of Germany was founded. The OZG regulates the digitalization of administrative services and their provision via administrative portals. The district has so far identified 294 administrative services that will be made available digitally to citizens and companies in future as part of the implementation of the OZG.
