
On Friday, June 14, 2024, from 9.15 a.m. to 5 p.m., the culture.landscape.excursion "Eisenhüttenstadt. On a discovery tour in the first socialist planned city of the GDR" with architect Martin Maleschka.
The expert guided tour by architect and artist Martin Malescheka offers the opportunity to get to know the first socialist planned city of the GDR. The tour starts at the Central Square and leads through the residential complexes I-IV. You will pass the former Square of German-Soviet Friendship, the Hotel Lunik, the Friedrich Wolf Theater and today's Lindenzentrum with the wall mosaic designed by Walter Womacka (1925–2010).
The walking distance is around 3.5 kilometers.
Participation fee: 17.50 euros/person/holder of a Germany ticket, if traveling by yourself 12.50 euros/person, children under 14 years; 15.60 euros/person and if traveling by yourself 10.60 euros/person
