Just in time for European Waste Prevention Week, Entsorgungsbetrieb Märkisch-Oderland (EMO) is launching a new website at www.abfallberatung-mol.de. It is dedicated to the topics of waste prevention, resource protection and recycling of waste.

Every year in November, the European Week for Waste Prevention draws attention to the topics of resource and climate protection. The three R's of the Europe-wide campaign week, which took place this year from 16 to 24 November, stand for this: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
The Märkisch-Oderland waste management company is taking this campaign week as an opportunity to publish a new digital service on its website www.abfallberatung-mol.de. The website is aimed at private households and businesses alike and deals specifically with the topics of waste separation, avoidance and recycling.

This new information page is therefore less about bylaws and waste disposal fees to be paid and more about specific recommendations on how waste should be avoided and separated in the best possible way. After all, correct waste separation is the only way to enable recycling and the extraction of new raw materials.

Hundreds of citizens have already shown that waste avoidance is important to them by making active use of the give-away market. So please take the opportunity to find out about other options, because every action to reduce waste counts – no matter how small! Each person in the district of MOL currently produces 383 kilograms of waste per year. Far too much!
