Applications possible until April 7

"Change starts here!" – his is the motto of the 44th International Hanseatic Day in the Polish port city of Gdansk from June 13 to 16, 2024. This summer, a joint delegation from Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice will once again set off to represent the Hanseatic twin city at the most important Hanseatic meeting of modern times.

Interested citizens from both cities are invited to join the travel group and become part of the Hanseatic togetherness in the middle of the historic old town of Gdansk. One representative from each city can join the Hanseatic delegation. The twin city will cover the travel and accommodation costs.

If you would like to take part, please register by Sunday, April 7, 2024 and complete the following two statements:

  • I like living in the Hanseatic twin city of Frankfurt (Oder)/Słubice because...
  • This is how I see my role as a representative of the Hanseatic twin city at the Hanseatic Convention in Gdansk: ...

A jury – consisting of Frankfurt Hanse Ambassador Milena Manns, representatives of the municipality of Słubice and the Hanse Club Wirtschaft – will then select the most convincing votes for Frankfurt (Oder) and Słubice from the applications received.
