Promoting environmentally friendly mobility and improving the cycling situation in the city are important concerns for the city administration of Frankfurt (Oder). In order to significantly improve the conditions for cycling in the city, citizens are also invited to contribute their suggestions and comments to a new cycling concept.
The concept is being developed by RV-K Planungsgesellschaft. This concept will result in network planning, a comprehensive analysis of the current situation and specific recommendations for action.
In order to utilise the experience and local knowledge of citizens to identify the need for action, a web-based, public participation format will be made available in addition to the technical processing of the project.
In the period from 23 March to 3 May 2026, citizens will be able to submit their suggestions and suggestions. From 23 March to 3 May 2026, those interested in cycling will have the opportunity to locate problems, conflicts and suggestions for improvement on an interactive online map and describe them using the comment function.
All contributions received will be professionally reviewed and categorised by the project team and integrated into the development of the network and measures.
