On Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the context of the project "Common Ground", sponsored by the Robert Bosch Foundation, a workshop with the artist P. Banause, known in the double city Frankfurt (Oder)/Słubice, will take place. The focus here is the artistic design of a citizens' table as a place of encounter on the Oderpromenade.
During the first Frankfurt-Słubice citizens' picnic in September 2022, many ideas were developed by citizens, which were put to the vote this year in a digital format. A citizens' table on the Oder received particularly high approval. Now this wish will be implemented as a participatory action for citizens
The workshop with P. Banause provides an opportunity to bring together people from different backgrounds to develop their artistic talents under guidance. The table with integrated bench function is produced by the local company Modellbau Stein GmbH and placed on site. Together with the Frankfurt-Słubice Cooperation Center of the city, the Neighborhood Management Frankfurt (Oder) "Innenstadt-Beresinchen" organizes this action.

The participation in the workshop is free of charge. Prior registration is recommended due to the limited number of participants.
It is expected that there will be another citizens' table in the fall at Plac Sybirakow in Słubice.
