Florian Vogel, Artistic Director at the Kleist Forum, is extending his contract until the end of the 2026/27 season, ensuring the continued development of the theater's artistic work.

"I am very happy to continue to take on the challenge of developing an ambitious and highly entertaining program for this wonderful theater for another three years. My motivation is not only the success of recent years, but above all the great team that makes it all possible. The Kleist Forum has now become a creative place where renowned ensembles and artists are always happy to work - not least because of the great Frankfurt audience. In these times, good theater is more important than ever!" says Vogel.

The Hamburg native has been associated with the Oder city for many years. With a varied theater program at a high artistic level, new stage formats and a star line-up of well-known acting greats, he led the Kleist Forum to increasing subscriber and audience numbers despite setbacks during the pandemic-related lockdown. The theater's successful co-productions and in-house productions have earned it a reputation far beyond the borders of Brandenburg.
