The current exchange deadline affects holders of driver's licenses born between 1965 and 1970, which are still in possession of a paper document. These must be exchanged by January 19, 2024.
Who does not meet the deadline set and participates in road traffic, acts disorderly. This can be punished on the part of the police with 10.00 euros warning money.
Frankfurterinnen and Frankfurter of the currently affected birth cohorts should keep the set deadline in mind and not postpone the exchange until the end of the year.
