The Brandenburg Chambers of Industry and Commerce welcome the conclusion of the coalition agreement and the rapid formation of a new state government in Brandenburg as a positive sign on the way to a stable and capable state government.
Ina Hänsel, Chairwoman of the State Working Group of the CCIs, says: "The regional economy particularly welcomes the fact that digitalization and the reduction of bureaucracy have been included in the coalition agreement as important core issues. Now the concrete steps such as accelerated and simplified approval procedures and effective as well as legally secure economic policy framework conditions must be implemented and clearly communicated without delay."
A modern and efficient economy forms the basis and future of the country, according to the IHK President. "Our companies in the Mark Brandenburg need uncomplicated and, above all, reliable solutions to the problems of securing skilled workers, industrial policy and infrastructure expansion. We expect clear economic stimuli for competitive energy costs and a sustainable infrastructure."
In September, the state elections set the course for the further development of the state of Brandenburg. The Brandenburg CCIs had formulated concrete proposals for solutions to the parties in the position paper "What the economy demands". The business community is ready to advise the new state government with expert knowledge, expertise and concrete experience from companies in order to secure the foundations for jobs, training and prosperity in Brandenburg.
The state working group (LAG) is a cooperation of the three chambers of industry and commerce in the state of Brandenburg. It represents the interests of around 160,000 companies from industry, trade and services.
