You are warmly invited to the fourth Climate Festival in Beeskow on 5 September from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm! Because: the climate – it concerns us all!!
The Beeskow Climate Festival is being initiated and organised for the fourth time by volunteers from the Beeskow community. It’s a hands-on festival for young and old alike, where we’ll show just how easy it is to integrate climate action and sustainability into our everyday lives – and just how much fun it can be.
As with previous years’ festivals, there will be individual stalls offering hands-on activities, useful information, craft sessions and games all centred on the theme of climate protection. The organisers are mainly based in the region, extending as far as the Berlin area.
We are also delighted to be able to offer regular programme items once again: The Youth Wind Orchestra from the Jutta Schlegel Music School will kick off our festival in style.&
This year’s panel discussion with experts will focus mainly on our diet: how can we create better conditions for sustainable eating? What should we look out for when shopping for food?
The artist Christin Penz is developing an art installation for our festival – we’d love you to get involved! With ‘Die Erde hält die Luft an’ (The Earth Holds Its Breath), we’ll experience the fragility of our one and only planet first-hand.
The festival will take place on 5 September 2026 from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm on the church square in Beeskow. Vegetarian and vegan treats will be provided! In the event of rain, the festival may take place inside the church again.
