On the trail of history with the "Common Ground" project.

As part of the "Common Ground" project, residents of the twin city of Frankfurt (Oder)/Słubice are invited to a city walk on Saturday, October 28, 2023, which will follow the traces of history to places and squares of the two cities. Meeting place is at 11.00 a.m. in the courtyard of the Collegium Polonicum in Słubice, Ul. Kościuszki 1.

During the two-hour walk, the most important monuments and places of historical significance in Słubice and Frankfurt will be visited. In addition, hot tea will be served and participants will receive a souvenir. Comfortable shoes and clothes suitable for the weather are recommended.

Meeting place: Courtyard of the Collegium Polonicum in Słubice, Ul. Kościuszki 1.

The event will be held in both German and Polish and is free of charge.
 

The city walk is sponsored by the Robert Bosch Stiftung as part of the project "Common Ground - Co-creating across borders". This project supports the cross-border participation of the population in the design and development of their border region. In the long term, sustainable participation structures are to be created. The twin city is one of eight border regions that successfully applied for this project and is now implementing the ideas around a climate-friendly, integrated inner city Frankfurt (Oder)/Słubice.
