At the premiere of the new Advent revue Durst!!! on Thursday at the Theater am Rand, four of the theater's regular actors and a Dresden musician jack-of-all-trades rocked the stage, theatrical snow trickled down and the audience cheered. Thomas Rühmann, Friederike Maria Nölting, Kathleen Gaube and Jens-Uwe Bogadtke celebrated an Irish Christmas in the old tradition of the theater. Slapstick scenes, stories, jokes, songs and even a dance alternated in quick succession. The dot on the i (of Irish) was Peter Till with his compressed air orchestra mobile. The two performances on Saturday are almost fully booked, with only a few places left.

Friederike Maria Nölting has warmed up in the Irish pub: next weekend, 12/13 December, she will also be performing in the Advent revue "Mit ken König möcht ich tauschn" with songs by the Erzgebirge folk poet and singer Anton Günther, a forerunner of modern singer-songwriters and christened the "Bob Dylan of the Erzgebirge" by the three exiled Erzgebirge musicians in the program.
