Children's Day at the Oderbruch Museum

There is also plenty to do in the museum workshop. Here, Peggy welcomes visitors with all the many things that a museum workshop has to offer. Simply come in, join in and try things out. For those who need a break from all the trying out and participating: Once again this year, the carousel lovingly built by Mr Bertold from Altranft with a hand crank will be turning in the castle park. 
 

In addition, the Oderbruch Museum team has put together a colourful programme:

At 11.30 a.m. Tiago Fonseca will start with a first magic clown show. With juggling and acrobatics, he makes the impossible possible and enchants his audience.

At 1.00 p.m., the Theatre Youth Club from Zollbrücke invites you to a storytelling theatre. The "Fairytale Chamber" will be in a secret, hidden location in the castle. However, the meeting point is not quite so hidden.

Back in the park, there will be a circus theatre show at 2.00 p.m. In "Family Circus 2.0", two circus artists decide to have a child and suddenly the world is literally turned upside down. With juggling, aerial artistry, acrobatics and clowning, they also outwit gravity.

More fairy tales will be presented at 3.00 p.m., again in the Fairy Tale Chamber.

Finally, the winners of this year's diorama competition will be announced at 4.00 p.m. Throughout the day, the dioramas created by children and young people can be admired in the upper foyer and the audience can choose their favourite diorama for the audience award.

For those who need a snack in between: Outside in the park, "Goldmund" has once again prepared delicious vegan food. There will be bratwurst at the barbecue next door and, of course, waffles and ice cream are also a must on a day like this.
