On Wednesday, May 17, 2023 the chamber ensemble of the Philharmonic Orchestra Zielona Góra makes a guest appearance in Frankfurt (Oder). Interested offers the opportunity at 7 p.m. to hear selected works from Ludwig van Beethoven's (1770-1827) song collection "From the songs of different peoples" in the unique and in the for chamber concerts authentic ambience of the Kurfürstensaal of the Museum Viadrina, Carl-Philipp-Emanuel-Bach-Strasse 11.

These will be performed by Justyna Bluj (soprano), Dominika Peszko (piano), Anna Szczerbińska (violin) and Ewelina Łaskarzewska (cello), members of the Chamber Ensemble of the Philharmonic Orchestra in Zielona Góra.

These vocal miniatures are works characterized by their humor, faithful folk motifs, as well as themes characteristic of the folklore of the countries from which they originate. In them, the composer used original texts in German, Danish, Tyrolean, Russian, Portuguese, Hungarian, Swedish and Ukrainian. The collection also includes two pieces in Polish: "Oj, oj upiłem się w karczmie" and "Poszła baba po popiół i diabeł je utopił".
