Business Day 2023 of the Metropolitan Region East

This year's Business Day will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, in the Historic Boiler House at UKB.

The Business Day 2023 will be dedicated to the increasingly important future issues of the health care industry. Questions about the conditions of a modern Daseinsversorgung as well as medical care in the (rural) area move in view of the demographic and digital change more and more into focus. The thematic focus of the event is therefore primarily on the areas of eHealth/telemedicine and networking/collaboration.

With experts from the fields of nursing, medicine and eHealth/technology, entrepreneurs and institutions of the health care industry, with decision-makers, with providers from Berlin and Brandenburg, we want to meet on the health care of tomorrow in the Metropolitan Region East.

Background
The Metropolitan Region East has very good and innovative medical facilities. Emergency care is also well established. However, there is too little cooperation among them and communication is also in need of improvement. The pressure for structural change is growing in view of social challenges such as demographic change. New visions, practical pilot projects and efficient synergies are needed to answer the question of the "healthcare of tomorrow" in the region.

Thematic Focus
In the metropolitan region of Berlin-Brandenburg, questions about the conditions of a modern provision of services as well as about the future medical care in (rural) areas are receiving increasing attention. The regional management would like to dedicate itself therefore with the 4th restaurant day of the Metropolregion east to the ever more important future questions of the health industry. The thematic focus of the event is therefore primarily in the areas of e-health/telemedicine and networking/collaboration.

Objective of the event
During the event, entrepreneurs and providers will be presented with helpful information on funding opportunities as well as best practice examples from the region to stimulate exchange among each other. The goal is to strengthen regional networking in the healthcare industry in order to make meaningful use of synergies in the value chain and to jointly shape the future of healthcare in the metropolitan region.

The event is aimed at experts, entrepreneurs and decision-makers in the health care industry from Berlin and Brandenburg.
