This year's summer vacations will also see the Brandenburg Summer of Reading. This reading initiative aims to encourage children and young people to be motivated and enjoy reading.
In addition to a variety of new books exclusively for participants, there will also be various events on offer. All children and young people between the ages of 6 and 18 can take part. Participation in the summer of reading is free of charge.
Registration is possible from now until the end of the summer vacations in both library buildings.
Opening
The "Brandenburger Lesesommer" will be opened at the Frankfurt City and Regional Library on Saturday, July 6, 2024. It starts at 11.00 a.m. in the children's library and at 12.00 p.m. in the youth library in Collegienstraße 10.
At the opening, children and young people can look forward to the ceremonial release of the summer reading books for lending, small gifts and games.
