From 26.09.25 to 18.10.25, the Friedrich-Wolf-Theater is hosting BallhausWoche for the 4th time.
The row seating has been removed and the theater is once again transformed into a lounge-like variety show, a sophisticated dance hall. The audience sits at tables in the stalls and drinks are served. Or you can choose a seat in the tier with the best view of the stage and the enchanted hall. During BallhausWoche, the Friedrich-Wolf-Theater naturally presents events that exude a special charm in this atmosphere. A program with many surprises and old acquaintances.
Here is an initial selection:
26 September 2025 | 8:00 p.m.
Bajazzo Invasion – visual theater, clowning, mime, magic and music
A spectacular crash landing in the theater! Bajazzo Invasion promises an explosive mixture of clowning, mime and magic in which three clowns and a magician transform chaos into art. Trashy, outrageously funny, wonderfully incorrect and weird! A modern clown spectacle for adults, in the spirit of contemporary circus. Admission: €29.20 to €36.00
27 September 2025 | 8:00 p.m.
4th Theater Ball
Hits. Dancing in a large ballroom with a live orchestra ... The theater ball at the Friedrich-Wolf-Theater is already legendary. Admission: €32.00 to €45.00
October 9, 10 and 11, 2025 | 7:00 p.m.
Hüttenstadt Elegie – a theatrical anniversary celebration for the Friedrich-Wolf-Theater
The Panzerkreuzer Rotkäppchen collective transforms the Friedrich-Wolf-Theater into a living work of art with an expansive revue.
For the 70th anniversary of the Friedrich Wolf Theater, the Hüttenstadt Elegie is an extraordinary theatrical event: the building opens up for a polyphonic experience of music, dance, puppet theater and concert. A walk-in total work of art: spectators can wander freely through six stations in and around the theater and discover the changing scenes - from an oversized puppet show in the forecourt to a birthday table with guests from seven decades of theater history, with their stories, memories and dreams.
Almost 100 participants from Eisenhüttenstadt will help shape the revue: Choirs, dance ensembles, theater groups and the Museum for Utopia and Everyday Life are part of and supporters* of the production.
Artistic director Susann Neuenfeldt says of the project: "We are not celebrating a museum, but a theater that lives, changes and is constantly being reinvented – together with the city that supports it."
Admission: €22.80 to €28.00
