Final spurt for Brandenburg's top companies
Half-time in the race for the most important business award in the state of Brandenburg: companies from all sectors can submit their applications for the "Brandenburg Future Prize" until 31 May 2026 - conveniently online at www.zukunftspreis-brandenburg.de
For the 22nd time already, the award recognises the outstanding achievements of the more than 190,000 small and medium-sized enterprises in the state that ensure Brandenburg's economic stability day in, day out – often far from the limelight. Especially in challenging times, it is clear how much innovative strength and commitment there is in these companies.
The Brandenburg Future Prize focuses on the stories behind the success: initiatives that secure jobs, create new ones or sustainably strengthen the regional economy are particularly in focus. Since its inception, the competition has produced 192 award winners – examples of entrepreneurial excellence and sustainable economic development.
The winners will be announced on 20 November 2026 at the Holiday Inn Berlin Airport Conference Centre in Schönefeld. They will not only receive media coverage, image films, a stele and a certificate, but also the right to advertise themselves with the label "Winner of the Brandenburg Future Prize" - a strong signal for customers, partners and the region.
Background: Supporters and partners of the most important business award in Brandenburg include the six chambers of commerce – IHKs and HWKs – as well as renowned institutions and companies such as the Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB), Deutsche Bank, Bürgschaftsbank Brandenburg, EWE AG, SIGNAL IDUNA, IKK Brandenburg and Berlin and the employment agencies in Cottbus, Eberswalde, Frankfurt (Oder), Potsdam and Neuruppin.
