The Viadrina Compliance Center of the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt (Oder) invites to the 10th Viadrina Compliance & Integrity Congress on Thursday, June 29, 2023, under the title: "...and then came the robots! What future still has Compliance?" to Berlin at the Weizenbaum Institute, Hardenbergerstraße 32.
From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., four rounds of talks will address, among other things, the regulation of artificial intelligence, digital compliance tools, technology-based whistleblowing, and the use of AI to protect human rights in supply chains.
The panels are staffed by experts from business, academia and politics.
Partners of the event include the Weizenbaum Institute and the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS).
Participation in the conference is free of charge. The number of available seats is severely limited, so early registration is requested.

New master's program on compliance starts in the new winter semester
From October 2023, the expertise of the European University Viadrina Frankfurt (Oder) in matters of compliance can also be perceived in the form of a new, part-time, interdisciplinary master's program. The application period for the first year of the "Master of Compliance & Integrity Management" (MACIM) runs until mid-September 2023. The program is primarily aimed at professionals and leads to a university master's degree in two semesters, including the master's thesis. The innovative concept is based on the Viadrina Compliance Center's ten years of experience, its extensive networks and expertise. More than 50 experienced compliance officers as well as excellent professors from diverse disciplines will train the 20 students in the new master's program.
