Altlandsberger Schlossgespräche – Economy meets state politics

The "Altlandsberg Castle Talks" series of events will enter a new round on January 22, 2026 with a focus on business meets state politics. From 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Schlossgut Altlandsberg, participants can expect impulses for the 2026 business year and the opportunity to contribute their perspectives directly to the dialog with state politicians.

There will be contributions from:

• Daniel Keller – Minister of Economic Affairs
• Monique Zweig – Managing Director of the IHK Ostbrandenburg
• Frank Ecker – Managing Director of the Chamber of Skilled Crafts Frankfurt (Oder) – Region Ostbrandenburg
• Sebastian Saule – Managing Director of Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH (WFBB)

After the opening by the Mayor of Altlandsberg, Mr. Töpfer, the chambers will provide insights into their economic policy expectations for 2026. Minister Keller will then outline the priorities of the state government – your questions and ideas for topics will flow directly into the discussion.

A joint brunch, organized by the student company, will give you the opportunity to exchange ideas with entrepreneurs from the region. For those interested, a guided tour of the historic Altlandsberg castle estate will follow from 12:00 noon.

The event is supported and accompanied by IHK Ostbrandenburg, HWK Frankfurt (Oder) – Region Ostbrandenburg and Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH (WFBB).

Background: On 10. On April 10, 2025, the kick-off event of the Altlandsberg Castle Talks took place, at which mayors of the region (from Rüdersdorf, Strausberg, Petershagen/Eggersdorf, Neuenhagen, Hoppegarten and Altlandsberg) gave insights into their local political responsibilities and informed about their support for local economic development. Moderated by Maria Halw, Regional Center Manager of Wirtschaftsförderung Land Brandenburg GmbH (WFBB), this event offered a unique platform for open dialogue, strategic discussions and future-oriented solutions. Topics, questions and positions were presented and networking with other entrepreneurs in the region was possible.
