On Wednesday, September 18, 2024 from 4.30 p.m. to 9.30 p.m., a film evening including a subsequent discussion on the documentary "Chronik der Wende" will take place at Junkerhaus, Carl-Philipp-Emanuel-Bach-Straße 11. The Grimme Prize-winning work from rbb documents the events of the Peaceful Revolution for each day from October 7, 1989 to the first free elections in March 1990.

Participants in the film evening will watch excerpts from the documentary series and gain an overview of the political events and social and cultural developments during the period of change in Germany. During the snack break, it will be possible to share personal memories and experiences.

The event is part of the "You have the choice!" project and is being held in cooperation with the Frankfurt (Oder) Adult Education Center.

On Thursday, September 22, 2024 at 11.30 a.m., there will be a guided tour with the photographer himself as part of the exhibition: "Frankfurt Underworlds: Photographic Discoveries by Hartmut Kelm", there will be a guided tour with the photographer himself. Hartmut Kelm will take visitors on a journey back to the time of the GDR.
