66th reading competition: Winner of the city competition comes from Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Gymnasium

Sixth-grader Tom Kuke from Carl-Friedrich-Gauß-Gymnasium is this year's winner of the city-wide reading competition. He read from the book he chose himself, "Rico, Oscar and the Heartbreak" by Andreas Steinhöfel.

Hanna Nowak (Mitte elementary school) and Theodor Ludwig Hiekel (Evangelische Grundschule) shared second place this year. Pascal Nowak from the Grundschule am Botanischen Garten took third place.

Tom Kuke can now represent the city of Frankfurt (Oder) in the subsequent district competition.

The stages lead from the school finals to the city/district, district and state level to the national final with the 16 state winners in Berlin in June 2025.
