64th reading competition: Winner of the city decision comes from Erich Kästner Elementary School

Johanna Schumann from class 6b at Erich Kästner Elementary School is this year's winner of the citywide reading competition.

She prevailed against the best in class from the other elementary schools in Frankfurt. The 2nd place in the city decision went to Hannah Grabow (Evangelische Grundschule). The 3rd place was Lieselotte Maeding (elementary school 'Am Mühlenfließ' Booßen).

Johanna Schumann read from the book "Podkin Einohr" by Kieran Larwood, which she selected herself. Now she may go in April to the following district decision. The stages lead from the school decisions over city / district, district and state level to the national final with the 16 state winners on June 21, 2023 in Berlin at rbb.
