The stakeholders of the economic development have exchanged for the third time on the joint work priorities. The regional management Oderland-Spree presented as introduction into the focus topic of this meeting the regional trade and industrial area monitoring, whose technical conversion was represented afterwards by the promotion of economy country Brandenburg (WFBB) in detail. Thus, the third network meeting continued discussions of the network of November 2021. The joint monitoring, by the state, region, counties and municipalities, is to start in the summer as part of a pilot phase and improve the strategic land policy in the Oderland-Spree economic region. The Regional Management Oderland-Spree has finally informed about the support provided for the application of municipalities within the framework of the Planning Funding Guideline (PFR) and announced the launch of the Round Table "Sustainable Industrial Areas".
The participants agreed to meet again in the third quarter of 2022 to initiate and continue the strategic dialogue of the new commercial area monitoring in addition to current developments in the region within the framework of the stakeholders' meeting of the regional economic development agencies.
