Twelve companies are in the running to win the most prestigious business award in the state of Brandenburg. The final of the 2026 ‘Brandenburg Future Prize’ will take place on 20 November at the Holiday Inn Berlin Airport Conference Centre in Schönefeld. The six winners will be announced there.
The competition was fierce this year. The nominees stood out from a field of 73 entries. They represent outstanding achievements in training, succession planning, innovation and staff management, and the manufacture of sustainable products.
The finalists’ range of achievements is diverse. They develop high-tech solutions for the aviation industry, drive forward the energy and mobility transition, ensure the operational readiness of emergency vehicles, support people in their daily lives, build sustainably, protect the environment and industry, and stand for quality in the skilled trades, tourism and the food sector. The companies employ between 10 and 140 staff members.
The Brandenburg Future Prize recognises outstanding entrepreneurial achievements. And in doing so, it honours creative, dynamic and innovative entrepreneurs who inspire others by rolling up their sleeves, taking responsibility and investing in the future, even in difficult times.
In addition to a promotional film, the six companies will receive a commemorative plaque, a certificate and the right to promote themselves using the ‘Brandenburg Future Prize’ winner’s label.

Elektro Jahn GmbH & Co. KG from Frankfurt (Oder)
This specialist firm is focusing on the future-oriented themes of the energy transition and digitalisation.
